KCC Gallery is pleased to present the group exhibition
, featuring works by
Korean-American artists
Ildan Choi
(최일단),
Choongsup Lim
(임충섭),
Jongsook Kang
(강종숙),
Sungho Choi
(최성호),
Hyongnam Ahn
(안형남), and
Kakyoung Lee
(이가경) opening April 4, 2015.
explores how mainstream Korean-American artists attempt to find harmony of cultural differences through their artworks. The artists in this exhibition have established their identities through the influential experiences within their multi-cultural identities. As the artists develop and thrive in their lives in New York and New Jersey, the art works convey their unique art world. The art works in the exhibition preserve and promote Korean cultural heritage and social identity through self-empowerment, as well as a spirit of giving through art. The art works will communicate and inspire all who visit the exhibition. It will show the audience the roots of Korean cultural identity.
